FOR RESIDENTIAL PLUMBING SERVICES IN PDX
Looking for a plumber near Portland? Look no further. When problems arise, it’s important to call a professional residential plumber as soon as possible. Many plumbers are booked weeks in advance, so getting a good plumber to diagnose and fix your plumbing problems quickly is no easy task. At Crown Plumbing, we make it our mission to ensure that you’re well-informed about your plumbing options so that you can make the right decision. We do our best to diagnose and fix every problem every time.
OUR RESIDENTIAL SERVICES INCLUDE:
REPIPING SERVICE:
An extremely common issue with older homes here in Portland is leaky and corroded pipes that can sometimes discolor your water. This is a telltale sign of old, galvanized piping that needs to be replaced. Luckily, here at Crown we have plenty of repiping experience and can offer our expertise and advise.
WATERLINE SERVICE:
If you have poor water pressure or have noticed discoloration in your floor or cabinets, you may need to have your waterline serviced. Unlike a repiping project, you may just need a leak addressed or a problem diagnosed. These simple fixes could save you hundreds in repair bills, so be sure to choose a plumber who is knowledgeable and has your best interest in mind.
FAUCETS:
If your faucet is leaking, dripping, has low water pressure, or anything in between, then you may find yourself asking the age old question: replace or repair? It ultimately comes down to your preferences, but before you decide we're happy to give you our advice and lend a hand when the time comes.
INTERIOR DRAIN CLOGS:
We like to think that our drains can handle whatever we throw at them. At the end of the day they still drain, right? Until they don't, that is. The obvious offenders are non-water soluble objects like tissues, paper towels, and wipes. Other slower drain-cloggers include grease, oils, detergent, short and long hairs, and toothpaste. Give us a call and we can fish out your drains so you don't have to.
WATER HEATERS:
Hot water. It's one of those things we take for granted until it's gone. Don't wait until you're without; if your tank is leaking, running out of hot water quicker than usual, making unusual noises, or is just in a state of disrepair, then schedule a call with us sooner rather than later! Unless your family likes cold showers, they will be very grateful that you did!
GREASE TRAPS:
Grease is the primary cause of most sewer pipe blockages. As such, it's important to protect against unintended or accidental disposal of grease down your drains. Grease traps are your first line of defense to prevent grease build up. We've got your back whether you need a trap installed, cleaned, or serviced.
BACKFLOW:
In the ideal home's plumbing system, the flow of pipes are one-way and one-way only. Unfortunately, this isn't the case in practice. Due to a number of possible causes, the flow of your system can be temporarily reversed, potentially resulting in some very serious health risks. Building codes require certain prevention devices to be put in place to prevent this from happening, but it's extremely important that these devices are checked annually.
NEW CONSTRUCTION:
New constructions don't just happen. A lot of planning and preparation goes in to laying out a home's electricity, gas, ventilation, etcetera. The same goes for a home's plumbing. Whether you're in the conceptual stages, you've got a framed building ready for pipe, or somewhere in between--we're here to help.
REMODELING:
For many homeowners, remodeling starts out as a fun project, involving design choices and themed décor. With plumbing remodeling, you get to pick out new fixtures for you kitchen and/or bathroom that flow with your new countertops, cabinets, lighting, and other design choices. However, when the parts start to arrive and it’s time for installation, things can quickly go south without the proper professional plumbing company to assist. Cue: us.
FROZEN PIPES:
Prevention is key. If you don't like being woken up in the middle of the night to small-scale pipe bombs and rushing water, then you had better make sure you and your pipes are covered. If it's too late for prevention then you might not be out of luck yet; we'll be happy to help turn a potential disaster into a minor inconvenience....AND MUCH, MUCH MORE!
